Sky High Apple Pie and a Motor Boat...

"But he's got high hopes, he's got high hopes
He's got high apple pie, in the sky hopes"

I had high hopes the last time I talked with you. I was going to get organized and be more productive with my creativity.

"All problems just a toy balloon
They'll be bursted soon
They're just bound to go pop
Oops there goes another problem kerplop"

I would like to blame working long and strange hours, but it is really procrastination. And the impossible belief that somehow it will just magically straighten it's self out.

"Beyond the horizon of the place we lived when we were young
In a world of magnets and miracles
Our thoughts strayed constantly and without boundary"

I have managed to create a few pieces of jewelry, amp up a t-shirt, and take up sketching. No pics as of yet but hopefully soon.
The good news is that my crafting area is all cleaned up. The bad news is that it was moved to storage to make room for a visit by my daughter and grandson. ( the storage part, not the visit).

Planning a few quick summer clothes projects to hopefully be finished before summer is over, lol.
And to bring back my supplies a box at a time, organizing each before the next one comes homes.

"Steps taken forwards but sleepwalking back again
Dragged by the force of some inner tide"

I often feel like a pack-rat swimming against a tide of disorganization.  But with everything out of the house, there is actually room to organize. I'm off to buy a motorboat and beat that tide.

Lyrics from High Hopes Frank Sinatra and High Hopes Pink Floyd.
